Films

Liz Stephens collaborated with composer Matt Sargent and poet Matthew Hittinger on the experimental film/video work, The Heart Strobed Superimposed.  The film explores time, location, and memory using images from the Kansas plains, the Palace of Versailles, a French marketplace, and aerial shots of Bimini Island in the Bahamas. The screening took place in Hartford, CT as part of the Hartford Sound Alliance's spring residency at the Hartford Art School.


Music

Liz is a singer and keyboard/percussion player for the Brooklyn band, The Mystery Keys.


Radio

Liz's voice may be heard on Classical KXTR's live radio stream out of Kansas City, Missouri. Her educational one-minute spots on composers and percussion instruments run under the banner slogan "Liz got the vibes" - play on her vibraphone musicianship.

Film Festivals

Liz was the curator of experimental film as well as one of the judges for the 2008 Brooklyn International Film Festival.
She has also volunteered with the Margaret Mead Film Festival.
